Silvio Severino is a contemporary photographer, illustrator and collage artist born in Brazil and based in Ireland. He studied photography and photojournalism in London and developed a photographic practice, but soon found himself drawn to the expanded creative opportunities of collage.
Since 2014, he has been a participating member of the Collagistas, an international annual festival of collage and, in 2018, helped to organise the Irish iteration of the festival in Dublin. In 2022 he curated the New Reality Festival of Contemporary Collage, Co Waterford, and curated the New Reality Contemporary Collage exhibition in Cork City.
In film, Silvio has done photo animation for ‘Vonnie - Ireland’s Forgotten Fashion Icon’. Other multimedia works of Silvio include the trailer for IndieCork 2019 edition and ‘Meat’, an experimental short film screened in the 2019 Cork International Film Festival. He is currently advancing his animation skills through the Irish Springboard Certificate in Animation by Griffith College & Pulse College.

Experienced Visionaries Behind the Lens
Renata Lima is an emerging Ireland-based filmmaker passionate about documentaries and inspiring real-life stories. She made her Irish debut as a director with ‘Vonnie - Ireland’s Forgotten Fashion Icon’, a short documentary funded by ENGINE Docs film scheme (Film in Limerick in partnership with SheffieldDocFest).
The film went on to have a great audience reception in and outside Ireland and was awarded in 2023 as best short documentary in Fastnet Film Festival and Catalyst International Film Festival. Renata has also won a runner up Breakthrough Award at Catalyst International Film Festival that same year.
She has also been active in the local film scene through different collaborations including the Viewing Panel of IndieCork Film Festival as well being a Documentary Jury for the 2022 Dingle Distillery International Film Festival.
